Created by perfumer Shinichiro Oba, Enigma of Taif pays homage to the legendary Taif rose, a timeless symbol of nobility and elegance. It opens with a vibrant rush of spices—cardamom, black pepper, and pink pepper—softened by the luscious, dark sweetness of ripe plum and resinous elemi. The heart blooms with the majestic Taif rose in full splendor, layered with golden saffron, powdery violet, sacred olibanum, and the apricot-scented glow of osmanthus. Finally, it settles into an intoxicating, long-lasting trail of smoky molasses, earthy oakwood, vetiver, amber, and rich labdanum.
